The team at Somerset Hill will be delighted to offer you the following services during your stay in South Africa:
Car Rental Service / Transfers
Should you require a rental car or transfer from/to the airport, we will gladly arrange this service. Please indicate this when making the room reservation, and we will take care of all the necessary arrangements. (Please note that the car can even be dropped off at the Guesthouse for you at no extra cost)
Golf Service
We offer you the option of arranging your tee-times in advance. We will do all the necessary bookings for you, based on your preferred golf courses and times.
Breakfast
Please note that our rates include a continental breakfast consisting of a variety of cheese, cold meats, bread and rolls, pastries, cereals, yoghurts, seasonal fruit, juice, tea & coffee or an English breakfast to order. Any specific dietary requirements must be advised when making the holiday reservation. Breakfast is served from 07h00 until 10h30.
Lunch & Dinner
A fully-equipped kitchen is at the guests’ disposal. We can also order meals to be delivered at the Guesthouse on request.
Refreshments
For your convenience, 2 Nespresso machines, along with a wide variety of coffees, are available for your use. There is also an “honesty” bar, for your enjoyment.
Tour Desk
We also offer you the opportunity to book trips to the Cape’s popular tourist attractions “online” at our reception (eg Table Mountain, Robben Island). The ticket can be printed instantly to avoid queues. Itineraries and tourist information pamphlets are also available at the reception.
Recommendations and Referrals
Would you like to experience the best that the Cape has to offer, but are not sure where to go? We will be able to offer you a range of choices and point you in the right direction. Want to experience the Cape like the locals, and find that special restaurant? We will share our secret destinations with you and make all the necessary reservations.
Massages
Pamper yourself with a massage from our in-house therapist. We also offer facial treatments, waxing, manicures, pedicures and tinting. Costs are available on
Request. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance.
Laundry Service
For a small extra fee, we can see to your laundry needs.
