Somerset Hill Guesthouse is nestled on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in Somerset West, with a far-stretching vista of False Bay and the Hottentots-Holland mountain range.

Somerset West, in the heart of the Western Cape, is reputed to be one of the oldest and most beautiful residential areas of the Cape Peninsula. Only 30 minutes’ drive from Cape Town, it is also in close proximity to the famous Erinvale Golf Club, the Helderberg Nature Reserve, well-known for its plethora of flora and fauna, or the renowned Vergelegen, one of the Cape’s oldest and most historic wine estates. The seaside resorts of Strand and Gordon’s Bay, with their beautiful sandy beaches, are less than 10 minutes’ drive away.

From 08h30 to 10h30, you can start each day with a sumptuous continental breakfast or English breakfast (made to order), while basking in the sunshine of our tranquil garden, or in the coziness of our breakfast room on cooler days. (Earlier breakfasts or a breakfast pack can be arranged on request).
